[The video feed starts out looking up at Laguna... and upside-down. She finishes wiping off the glass in her hand and flips the rag onto her shoulder before noticing her Steamgear seems to be a bit askew.]
Whoops! Hang on, lemme just...
[She leans down a little closer and the image starts to slowly rotate back around until it's finally at least close to the right way around. Give or take a few degrees to one side.]
There!
[She flashes a big grin at the camera and gives a little wave with her fingers.]
Heya, girls! [That feels weird, but she's trying it out. Better than saying 'guys' all the time in this place, maybe?] I've been living here for a while now... it's got a neat little bar on the first floor, and an apartment upstairs. So I figured, why not try and open the place?
[At this, the video abruptly turns away and turns a little fuzzy with static. The more observant residents might notice a few glimpses of the bar or tables with upside-down chairs stacked on top. Something quite reminiscent of this place, though it's not exact.
When the image stabilizes, it shows the front of the building. Again, something like the pub in this town (left center), but spaced between other storefronts rather than crowded into a small residential zone. As the image pans around a bit, Laguna's voice continues.]
Here it is! ... Haven't thought of a name yet, but if anyone wants to come by and visit, I could use the help figuring out what all these bottles are.
[Suddenly, static overtakes the video. It's obvious she's not quite done talking yet, but whatever she's saying isn't quite getting through. And then the feed abruptly stops.
The video drain on these Steamgear batteries is a bitch. Fortunately, there's a charge station not far from Laguna's new home, so it won't take long for her to reply. She just probably won't be using video again.]
