[the video isn't clear— wherever the video's being taken from is dark. it looks like it's from the floor, though, somewhere that isn't very well kept.

there are odd noises in the background; little halting grinding noises and screeches, like a stuck engine. someone is panting harshly, almost whimpering]

I— is, is anyone there? Please, I— I can't move, I can't—

[the whimpers turn to outright sobbing]

I know I'm— I'm somewhere in southwest; I live in the west side of town and was heading toward the s-south. I don't think I quite made it; what little I can see still looks like f-factories.

[And she is packing her medical bag just in case.]

...it's stupid. that shouldn't affect her as much as she does, this is a bad idea...

she swallows her protests and shuts her eyes anyway, too tired and worn out to keep fighting.]

[Admittedly, perhaps rushing in wasn't the best plan. She's never been to this part of the city before, and the fog is thick and swirling about, effectively reducing visibility. But she said she's come find her, and she'll be damned if she lets a little weather get in her way.]

[Now more than ever she wishes the girl had a name that she could call out for her. Hopefully no one else would be on the streets.]

Hello! [She yells into the darkness. Maybe if she's lucky she'll get a reply, and if not she'll keep moving on.] Are you near here?

[her voice is almost immediately swallowed up by the fog; if it weren't for the damp coolness of the air, it'd be almost like trying to walk and yell through cotton.

although... is that...? there's a faint sound coming from somewhere in front of her that might be someone yelling out in reply]
