[Suruga is in the Merchant Quarter, at a bookstore. Not that it'd be obvious she was digging for porn, if you saw her, but she's trying to find something to remind her of home. Or see if this place is in the same universe at all.

She keeps turning the Steamgear on accidentally; normally she catches it before it does anything, but not this time!

It lands with a loud 'clunk' on the ground, and she picks it up, staring at it.]

Dammit, did I turn it on again? [Oh yup, it's recording, Suruga, better say something.

She grins, waving.]

So, even though this place is weirdly empty, there's actually a lot of cool stuff here! I'm... assuming it's ok to take the books, right? I'll bring them back. We could start a book club or something! [She laughs, trying to talk about something that could bring some more normalcy back into the place.]

Seriously though, there's a whole lot of stuff to explore around here. Tell me if any of you girls are up for it! Or the book club thing, you know, that's cool too. [She grins again and winks, turning the video off.]

A book club? What does that mean? [ Reisen's done some reading, but not nearly as much as other people. Usually it's just newspapers nowadays. ]

A book club is just where a bunch of people read the same book and then talk about it, really. I was mostly joking, but if it's something people would actually like I wouldn't mind it! [She laughs.

And no... not yet. I'm still looking around though. I was hoping to even just find something on the history of this place...

What would you talk about? In a book club? [ The idea is strange to her, but it also sounds interesting. ] It...could be a good way to meet other people, right?

[ She wants to meet people, even if she's a little shy, if only because the more people she meets the better chance she thinks she can find a way back home. ]

It's not normal, for people to just up and leave everything behind. Something must have happened..

Well... you talk about the book, usually! Which characters you like, if the story was good, that kind of thing. But yeah, it'd be a good way to meet people! You can talk about whatever you wanted too, really.

[She nods.] Yeah, it definitely is weird... That's part of the reason why I want to look around, I figured I'd be able to find something out, someway.

Do you things like that a lot back home? [ Reisen can think of it, and wonders if it's actually not a bad idea. She's too shy to go and get people to actually do something like that, but it sounds like an interesting idea. Though at the moment, she's still trying to get over being in a strange new place. ]

You know, I actually don't hang out with people much at home, no. I was a sports girl for awhile, I usually just read on my own. But I figure doing things to make people comfortable here is a good idea, right? I'm sure almost all of us miss home.

Yeah, but that's really nice! People could avoid it if they wanted, you know? It's nice to know that there's people out there I could ask for help... potentially, anyway.

Oh. Baseball! I've seen that before! You hit a ball with a bat and run around until someone tags you, right? [ She's seen English books about it, but she can't read English, so she just looks at the pictures. ] That looks kind of fun.

I'm sure we're all worried about the people we left at home. We just have to work together to figure out a way back to them, I think.
